Our therapists are fully credentialed, highly trained master’s level or higher clinicians. All our therapists deliver the same high-quality services, in line with our philosophy.
The length of time that therapy lasts varies from person to person and depends on many factors. You and your therapist will put together a treatment plan, which lists the goals of your therapy with estimated timelines. At regular intervals you and your therapist will review your treatment plan, to see where you are in relation to your goals. This will give you an idea of how long it will take to reach your goals and how long your therapy is likely to last.
Some forms of therapy are highly structured and can feel a bit like a class. Examples include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). Other forms of therapy are less structured, more open-ended, and feel nothing like a class. Most therapists are well trained in multiple forms of therapy and use different approaches at different times, depending on the circumstances. You and your therapist will decide which kinds of therapy work best for you.
You can stop therapy at any time.
